The MRT3 will experiment a twenty four hour operation starting June 1. Consistent with the covenant of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo with business process outsourcing agents to assist them by providing a safe, fast and economical transport services.
According to Assec. Reynaldo I. Berroya, the General Manager of MRT3, their surveys revealed that most call center agents finish their shifts at about midnight and at 4 A.M. “At this period, most buses and jeepneys are in their garages already, and most call center agents have to wait long time for the resumption of their operation,” Assec. Berroya clarified.
The MRT3 will be secured by the provision of enough security guards and the stations fully lighted. Security guards will be on board the trains to protect the passengers.
